Shadows of Colesbrooke by Brandy I. Timmons: January WIPWordSearch Excerpts
January 26, 2024 – Uncertain
Thomas sighed and closed his eyes, his frustration and #uncertainty washing over him again.
“I don’t know what to do. I mean, you should have heard them. They were talking about people getting murdered and abused—and it didn’t faze them. I can’t believe I’ll end up like that. I just can’t.”
January 27, 2024 – Up
Gary chuckled and turned back to Thomas, his eyebrows still knit together. “That’s true. I just don’t want to see your face turning #up on tomorrow night’s news, okay? It would probably break the glass of every television in Colesbrooke.”
January 28, 2024 – Urge
He resisted the #urge to tear off his gloves. The itch wasn’t necessarily a physical sensation but rather a mental one, something deep inside of him wanted to rip off the gloves and inspect his hands once more for the bite mark.

January 30, 2024 – Unaware
“Our last date turned out awful. We should try again.”
The comment caught Thomas #unaware and he nearly dropped a jar of cotton swabs.
January 31, 2024 – Unlike
They created wounds #unlike any Thomas had ever treated at Stoker Memorial, a disgusting blend of burnt and rotting flesh. The surgeon within him was morbidly fascinated by these kinds of injuries, but he also feared how they would escalate if the war continued too long.
Moonlit Woods by Brandy I. Timmons: January WIPWordSearch Excerpts
January 26, 2024 – Uncertain
Confusion, guilt, anxiety, #uncertainty—these were the feelings of a human mind, of a mind that found complexity a gift and not a burden. The wolf would have happily channeled all its feelings into either ferocity or hunger.
January 27, 2024 – Up
“I don’t like where this is going,” Benjamin said, his tone blunter than a river stone, but he sat down on the couch anyway. “If you need help burying a body, ask someone else. I’ve told the pack a million times; I don’t like you digging #up the parks.”
January 28, 2024 – Urge
Clara resisted the #urge to tell them off, but she’d never cared about how werewolves talked about vampires before.

January 31, 2024 – Unlike
They aren’t from the local pack. In fact, they’re #unlike any werewolves I’ve met. They’ve eaten so many vampire hearts that the wolf doesn’t even try to oppose them.
