Everyone made their way back to the table, each person #expressing their own theories about whether they believed in curses.

Multi-colored sparks of agony exploded before Thomas’ eyes. Inky blackness obscured the #edge of his vision, and his heart raced.

“I don’t know what to say to them. ‘Sorry I tried to #eat the chick you were hitting on last night, Nelson. Oh, and Sean, I prefer blood with my beer now. I’m sure you understand.’”

His pen slipped from his twitching fingers and fell from the clipboard. Before it hit the tiles at his feet, Thomas knew the #exact spot it would bounce and land.

He must have looked #extremely selfish after asking them for blood donations one second then making out with his girlfriend the next.

The two of them stared quietly, on opposite ends of the room, neither knowing what to say.

What could they possibly say? What kind of conversation could possibly cover all that they needed to #express to one another?

Uncertainty, nervousness, and guilt always set the wolf on #edge, and Clara found herself keeping an internal dialogue to keep the wolf caged as they neared the Crone’s shop.
