Writing Shadows of Colesbrooke and the Children of Kaespars series has been a wonderful adventure. I’ve loved every minute of it (except the moments of despair and thinking What the hell am I doing?, so typical writer’s life thoughts) and am currently working with an editor at BDR to publish the full series. So far, things are looking great for an early summer release for Shadows of Colesbrooke. I couldn’t be more thrilled!
Love vampires, werewolves, witches, and magic? Me, too! Which is why I’m writing this series and can’t wait to share it with you.
My In-Progress Book Blurb
(cover soon to be revealed)
Resident physician Thomas Spencer always knew that there was something strange about Colesbrooke, but nothing could have prepared him for the dangers that lurked in the darkened streets. Thomas finds himself entangled in a world of magic and mystery when he’s attacked late one night and wakes up to find himself thirsting for human blood.
Upon meeting local vampire leader Lawrence Foxe, Thomas learns about an ancient curse that may be the cause of his unnatural thirst and aversion to sunlight. As war between two rival vampire gangs erupts and threatens to destroy the city, Thomas must find a way to protect the ones he loves and avoid succumbing to the effects of the curse.
