Thomas’ body ached for him to reach out his hand and #grab the mug, to lick the side of the mug and to drink. How could he consider that? Disgusted, he pushed it further away.

Sharp, strong, cutting eyes, and perfect posture. Most men found her attractive, and Sean had hit on her a couple of times before he’d realized she was immune to his charm and #good looks.

Artemis gave her brother a withering #glare. Thomas coughed uncomfortably. Sean dropped his gaze and shoved his hands into his pockets. His flippant approach to certain situations made talking about serious topics nigh impossible.

“I’m out, Lawrence. I #guess, thanks for saving me. But vampires don’t exist.” Thomas used his newfound energy to head for the door.
“I wouldn’t go out there, kid. Sun’s only a few moments from stretching itself over the horizon.”

It had been bad, the kind of transformation that the news called a freak accident because a #giant wolf had appeared out of nowhere in a crowded area and mauled several people, killing two.
November 26, 2024 – Grab
She dressed in clean clothes and sprayed as much floral scented body mist as she could stand on her clothes and neck and #grabbed the matching lotion for her backpack. She was going to need a good story on what scent she was covering up or Benjamin would be suspicious.
November 27, 2024 – Good
A werewolf territory spat at the same time as a vampire turf war couldn’t be #good, even for a city as populated as Colesbrooke.

Clara shook her head and #glared at him. He wasn’t funny.
Benjamin growled and shifted into drive. “I’m going to dump you in a pond before I give you your coffee.”
November 30, 2024 – Guess
With a valiant effort, Clara managed to keep herself from cursing aloud. Sean’s clove-scented aftershave was faint enough that she’d #guess he’d been gone for over a week. She couldn’t deny it any longer.
Sean wasn’t there. That meant she needed to start snooping, possibly in vampire territory.
